Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors: Understanding the Dementia Journey Series

Join us for this third session in a three-part series: Understanding the Dementia Journey, presented in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association. Together, we are exploring key topics around dementia to help you better support a loved one, care for yourself as a caregiver, and respond with patience and understanding in our community. Whether you attend one session or all three, we hope you’ll gain practical tools, encouragement, and connection along the way.
This class outlines how dementia can cause changes in a person’s behavior including how a person may communicate. Learn about the possible reasons for behaviors and ways to address them, including non-medical and medical approaches. You’ll also learn to recognize when additional help is needed.
